Alleyway Fitness is a private training studio located in the Bloor and Dufferin area of Toronto. For the past two and a half years, the business has been operating out of a temporary space under the name Body By You, providing private sessions, bootcamp classes, and mobile training. Recently aquired a space to call its own, the name Alleyway Fitness was directly inspired by its new unique location. Free of distractions and onlookers, clients have the privilege of training in a comfortable private environment, where they can focus on achieving goals and setting new ones! The studio is equipped with a power rack, functional trainer, dumbbells, multiple punching bags, and many other fitness tools. It even has a shake bar so you can fuel up before and after your workout. Alleyway Fitness is judgement free and welcomes all fitness levels, whether you are just setting out on your fitness journey or looking to take your training to the next level.

Starting at the age of 6, Armando Jr. has been involved with sports and fitness for practically his whole life. His parents having put him in dance, gymnastics, and soccer at such a young age, sparked his love for training, competing and sports. Throughout school, he kept busy always making the basketball, soccer, and softball teams. He even did track and field, and cross country. At about 13 years old, he started kickboxing at Twin Dragons, sticking with it for a couple of years until deciding he would prefer to box instead. It was then when he started training with a family friend who took him under his wing and trained him 4 days a week in both boxing and weight lifting. Up until this day fitness is still a huge part of his personal life, training 5 days a week its become a lifestyle and in 2016 he decided to turn his passion for fitness into a career. Starting with training family and friends to now owning his own training studio he is driven, dedicated, and supportive. Specializing in strength training, body building, toning, conditioning, weight loss, calisthenics, and boxing, he is prepared to help you achieve all of your fitness goals both physically and mentally!

Bootcamp classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with two time slots for each day (check class schedule for more info). Classes are 50 - 60 minutes long and are limited to 6-8 people per class to avoid overcrowding and to ensure everyone receives the proper attention needed (no, you will not be able to hide in the back and slack off here, sorry lol). Classes are not tailored to any individual person, they are meant to be challenging for everyone regardless of experience or fitness level. All that matters is you show up and give it your all! Take note that the kickboxercise classes are not focused on technique, although you will briefly learn some basics. Classes are mainly geared towards the fitness aspect of the sport. All equipment will be provided for use during the classes but if you have your own boxing gloves and hand wraps for the kickboxercise class, you're more than welcome to bring them. **Boxing gloves and hand wrap packages available in apparel section*

To help ensure that you're always progressing towards your goals, every training session is logged in detail and used as reference for future sessions.

Small group private training sessions are 1 hour long and specifically tailored to help each individual client achieve their goals, whether it be weight loss, building muscle, learning the fundamentals of boxing or just maintaining a healthy lifestyle! Whether you are training in a group of two or three, it isn't necessary that you share the exact same goals as your fellow training partner/partners but in the case where the styles of training are far too different from one another, you will be notified before any training begins that group sessions are not a suitable option for you. During your first session and on a monthly basis afterwards, things like body weight, body fat % and progress photos are documented for each member of the group, none of this is mandatory and is completely up to the clients. To help ensure that all members of the group are always progressing towards their goals, every training session is logged in detail and used as reference for future sessions.

Mobile private training sessions take place at a location of your choice, which in most instances would be your condo gym, your home depending on personal goals and equipment available or in some cases a gym in your neighborhood. If the location is not equipped for the style of training needed to help you reach your goals, you will be notified before any training begins that mobile sessions are not a suitable option for you.
